Yes, berries... there is a tree in front of our house that is bearing fruit to what looks like little berries, or tiny cherries. They are very bitter and most of them have fallen to the ground. My son decided to pick some and since I was not sure if they were safe to eat we decided to use them to paint pictures. The activity ended up a little messy, but oh so fun! My son enjoyed discovering the different shades of purple and red: He was squeezing each berry on the white paper and his imagination just took off. What a fun and inexpensive activity!
